Not a Concept — A Build Package
There is a critical difference between a satellite concept and a satellite design package. A concept describes what a satellite should do. A design package tells you how to build it. The NCS-19 is the latter. Every connector pin, every wire gauge, every CAN bus byte, every torque specification is defined, documented, and traceable.
What the Package Contains
Specifications (specs/ directory)
- REAL_SPECS.md: Power budget (560W / 20A / 28V), mass budget (17.9 kg), data bus architecture
- ICD_NCS-19-001.md: Interface control document defining how all 13 subsystems connect
- CONNECTOR_AND_CABLE_SPEC_DETAILED.md: 12 connectors (J1-J12) with full cavity-level pin tables, 19 cable runs with gauge, length, and shield specifications
- DATA_BUS_BYTE_SPEC_DETAILED.md: All 19 CAN IDs with byte-level data layouts, scaling factors, and cycle times
- ASSEMBLY_DETAIL.md: Step-by-step assembly sequence with torque values and threadlock specifications
- DETAILED_TEST_PROCEDURE.md: Complete acceptance test including continuity, insulation, power, data bus, communication link, and encryption validation
Engineering Drawings (drawings/ directory)
- INVENTOR_DRAWING_PACKAGE.md: Title block, 17-part BOM with materials and 3D print compatibility, assembly sequence

3D Models and Scripts
- comm_satellite_assembly.scad: Parametric OpenSCAD model with all 13 subsystem modules, exploded and assembled views, single-part export for 3D printing
- export_comm_satellite_dxf.py: Python script generating 2D DXF views for AutoCAD import
Heritage Files
The package includes the complete Super Dome project (506 files) covering AES-256-GCM encryption implementation, American Dollar Blockchain code, Android application, defense compliance documentation, and architecture diagrams. It also includes the War Satellite heritage drawings and blueprints that document the core bus architecture.
What a Customer Does with This
A customer receiving this package has everything needed to begin development:
- Review specifications and interface control documents
- Manufacture quantum battery ICs per Project 5 specifications
- Develop custom ICs (encryption accelerator, phased array controller, edge AI processor, blockchain processor)
- Assemble 13 subsystems per the assembly detail and manufacturing checklist
- Wire the 19-wire harness per the connector and cable specification
- Test per the detailed test procedure
- Integrate with a standard small-sat launcher
Estimated timeline: 48 months from contract award to operational deployment.
